What Kind of Problems Can I Expect?
Here’s an example for a more challenging problem: We are throwing a party, and the map below shows where our six guests are on their way to the party. They may take as long as they want along any part of their journey, but they never turn around nor overtake each other. How many different arrival orders are possible, assuming everyone eventually shows up?

Can I Submit My Solutions?
Yes! You can submit your answers—most of the time, we’re looking for a single number as a response. At the end of the month, participants will receive a certificate based on the number of problems they solved.
Is There a Participation Fee?
No, participation is free! However, we are running a parallel fundraising campaign, and we truly appreciate any support.
Who Organizes This?
The program is organized by The Joy of Thinking Foundation. The Foundation has been running programs for talented students interested in mathematics for over 30 years, including camps, workshops, and competitions.
Our students typically love solving problems, and with the Month of Math project, we aim to share the joy of thinking with a broader audience.
